Account Executive

The Opportunity
Our client is seeking a competitive sales professional who has the ability to establish swift rapport through cold calling. This is a B2B sales position. You will be selling to vendors rather than the end users. Your day will be comprised of speaking to individuals across the country at all levels of an organization; CPA’s, Attorneys, Business Owners, Sales Professionals. This position will be provided with contact lists but will be responsible for all aspects of sales and sales administration for the book of business and will report to the President.

The commodity is a non-tangible good; money. This company finances the lease of equipment including medical, technological, office and industrial. They work closely with their customers to provide ready access to the funds that make the deals happen.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Position reports to President.
  • A decisive, proactive sales professional responsible for the development, implementation and management of their segment of the company’s sales plan.
  • Builds strong relationships easily over the phone.
  • Participates in individual and group development/sales training programs and meetings.
  • Calls on prospects and current national accounts to promote new account acquisitions and client retention.
  • Promotes positive company image and customer relations by using great phone techniques, making presentations, and serving as company spokesperson with customers.
  • Sticks to an aggressive sales strategy.

Background Experience:

  • Prior experience as a dedicated customer service/inside sales professional preferred.
  • Customer oriented; good interpersonal skills; strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to establish swift rapport through cold calling
  • Must be competitive, go-getter, have great tenacity, be unstoppable.
  • A VALUE ADDED relationship driven customer sales professional with experience communicating directly with customers, at all levels within the organization,
  • Must have good math skills. Finance knowledge or background a plus.
  • Organized, creative; able to manage multiple priorities, stress, and deadlines.
  • Strong facilitation, negotiation, problem solving and presentation skills.
  • Must be articulate, resourceful, and creative. One who exhibits patience, perseverance, and persuasiveness.
